Building Leadership Potential
In 2011-2012, DBL members volunteered a total of 27,284 hours in the Denton Community.
In 2012, DBL gave a total of $250,761.50 in grants to 41 local agencies.
DBL is committed to developing members’ leadership skills.
The women of Denton Benefit League serve Denton by raising funds for non-profit organizations, volunteering in the community, and building leadership skills in women. Founded in 1973, Denton Benefit League is non-political, non-sectarian, and non-profit. Membership includes women of all ages.
All funds raised by annual events such as the Charity Ball, Sensational Settings tablescapes, and the Tabloid section in the DENTON RECORD-CHRONICLE are returned to the community. Administrative expenses are paid for by member dues.
