Who We Are
In 1973, Denton Benefit League was founded by a group of women dedicated to improving the quality of life in the local Denton, Texas and surrounding Denton County community north of Lake Lewisville. We have since grown to almost 300 members, all of whom are active volunteers in local organizations.
Today, beginning our 39th year, Denton Benefit League's membership reflects the diversity of our community, as local people supporting local agencies. DBL is nonpolitical, nonsectarian, and nonprofit in all its policies and activities.
The purpose of this organization shall be to raise funds for local philanthropic purposes and to promote volunteerism in the community. This organization shall be nonpolitical, nonsectarian, and nonprofit in all its policies and activities.
